A male pedestrian was reportedly crossing the highway from the right shoulder to the center divider when he was hit by a white Toyota Corolla.
Moreno Valley, CA. – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car Wednesday night on State Route 60 in Moreno Valley, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident occurred around 9:15 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the highway near Frederick Street.

The pedestrian was lying down in traffic lanes, bleeding from the head.
Firefighters responded to the scene and transported the victim to Riverside University Health System, where he was pronounced dead.
The slow lane and the right lanes of the Frederick Street off-ramp were shut down following the crash.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
