Redding, Calif. – A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a car Wednesday evening at an intersection in Redding.
According to Redding police, the incident occurred around 6 p.m. at Cypress Avenue and Bechelli Lane.
The pedestrian was hit by a car under unclear circumstances.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and took the victim to a nearby hospital with major injuries.
