Vancouver, WA –One person was seriously injured following an auto-pedestrian collision on Northeast St. Johns Road in Vancouver, according to Vancouver police.
The accident occurred at about 9:49 p.m. on July 21 on NE St. Johns Road at NE 44th Street.
Investigators said a vehicle was traveling northbound on NE St. Johns Road when it struck a pedestrian who was crossing east to west outside the crosswalk near the intersection with NE 44th Street.
The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
The driver stayed on scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Vancouver police said impairment was not a factor in the crash.
The crash is under investigation.
