San Jose, CA. – A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car early Sunday morning near an intersection in south San Jose.
According to the San Jose Police Department, the accident was reported around 4:30 a.m. near Senter Road and East Capitol Expressway.
Details about what transpired leading to the crash were not available.
The pedestrian was hospitalized with critical injuries.
Units are currently in the area of Senter Rd and E. Capitol Expwy investigating a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.

Roads in the area remained closed until around noon following the collision.
SJPD is investigating the accident.
