Clairemont, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and injured by a bicyclist in Clairemont early Saturday morning, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The incident took place in the 4700 block of Genesee Avenue at about 4:50 a.m.
According to the report, a 79-year-old man was walking in the bike lane when a bicyclist struck him.
The victim was taken to a hospital with a skull fracture and brain bleed.
The San Diego Police Department is conducting an investigation into the collision.
