23-Year-Old Man Injured in San Diego Crash on Orange Avenue at 42nd Street
San Diego, California (September 17, 2021) – A man was struck and injured by a vehicle in San Diego's Teralta West neighborhood on Wednesday evening, according to police.
The incident happened in the 4100 block of Orange Avenue at 42nd Street at about 6 p.m. September 15.
Police said a 59-year-old man was walking east across 42nd Street when a Dodge Ram turned left at the intersection of Orange Avenue and hit the pedestrian.
Pedestrian Injured in San Diego Crash
The pedestrian sustained a fracture to his left arm and was taken to a hospital for treatment. The victim's injuries were described as serious.
The involved motorist stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The San Diego Police Department is investigating the crash.
