Burbank, CA – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a Metrolink train in Burbank early Friday morning, according to a report by the Burbank Police Department.
The accident took place near Buena Vista and Vanowen Streets at about 5:50 a.m.

The victim died at the scene of the collision.
There were approximately 39 passengers on the train at the time of the accident but none of them was injured.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
