A man was reportedly walking in the roadway when he was hit by a vehicle traveling south on La Tijera Boulevard
Los Angeles, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle near the Los Angeles International Airport early Thursday morning, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The incident took place on La Tijera and Airport boulevards at about 5 a.m. on May 29.
A man was reportedly walking in the roadway when he was hit by a vehicle traveling south on La Tijera Boulevard.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver stayed at the scene after the accident and cooperated with investigators.
The incident is under investigation.
