Police said a vehicle traveling west on Tully Road hit a pedestrian walking in the roadway
San Jose, CA.- A woman was hit and killed by a vehicle in San Jose on Thursday evening, according to the San Jose Police Department.
The accident took place on Tully Road and La Ragione Avenue at around 6:26 p.m. on July 25.
Police said a vehicle traveling west on Tully Road hit a pedestrian walking in the roadway.
The victim, only identified as a woman, was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
The crash led to the closure of westbound Tully Road as authorities investigated the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
