Parkland, WA – A pedestrian was hit and injured by a vehicle in Parkland on Monday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The incident took place on Pacific Avenue near 106th Street South at about 2:40 p.m. June 17.
WSP said a 38-year-old man was walking across Pacific Avenue outside of a crosswalk when he was hit by a Lincoln sedan traveling north.
The pedestrian was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
The involved driver remained at the scene after the accident.
The northbound lanes were temporarily closed as authorities investigated the incident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
