Phoenix, AZ.- One person was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident in west Phoenix on Friday night, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The incident took place on 27th Avenue and Camelback Road shortly after 9:30 p.m. June 20.
According to the report, a truck was traveling south on 27th Avenue when it struck a man in his 30s crossing the roadway.
The pedestrian was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the SUV stayed at the scene and was processed for DUI.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
