A pedestrian reportedly entered the roadway and was hit by a westbound Buick Century on State Route 2
Airway Heights, WA.– A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Airway Heights on Saturday evening, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The incident took place on State Route 2 near Dover Road at about 7 p.m. December 28.
A pedestrian reportedly entered the roadway and was hit by a westbound Buick Century.
The westbound lanes of SR 2 were shut down as authorities investigated the incident.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The crash is under investigation.
