Jurupa Valley, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Jurupa Valley on Thursday night, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
The incident took place on Van Buren Boulevard, just south of Etiwanda Avenue, at around 9:25 p.m. July 17.
According to the report, a man was walking in the roadway for unknown reasons when he was struck by a vehicle.
The man, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver stayed at the scene and was not suspected of impairment.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
