Moreno Valley, Calif. – The Coroner's office has identified 64-year-old David Ristow as a pedestrian struck and killed by a car at an intersection in Moreno Valley Tuesday morning.
Ristow was involved in an auto-pedestrian wreck at Perris Boulevard and Bay Avenue at around 5:04 a.m. on January 16.

Moreno Valley, Calif. – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car at an intersection in Moreno Valley Tuesday morning, police said.
The Moreno Valley Police Department responded at the intersection of Perris Boulevard and Bay Avenue at around 5:04 a.m. about a deadly auto-pedestrian crash.
A preliminary investigation revealed that an Isuzu Trooper was traveling southbound on Perris Boulevard when it struck a pedestrian crossing the street.
The victim was pronounced dead at the crash site. The Isuzu Trooper driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
Alcohol and drugs were not believed to have caused the collision.
During the on-scene investigations, Perris Boulevard was closed between Cottonwood Avenue and Alessandro Boulevard.
The circumstances surrounding the wreck remain under investigation.
