Wilmington, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Wilmington on Wednesday night, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
At about 9:14 p.m. July 31, authorities responded to the scene of a crash on the Harbor (110) Freeway near the Anaheim Street exit.
A pedestrian was reportedly walking in one of the northbound lanes of the freeway when they were hit by a white hatchback.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Four northbound lanes of the freeway were shut down as authorities investigated the incident.
The CHP is handling the investigation.
