According to police, a vehicle was traveling south on Western Avenue when it hit a pedestrian in the crosswalk
Los Angeles, CA.- A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident in South Los Angeles early Tuesday morning, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The incident took place at about 4:05 a.m. in the area of S. Western Avenue and W. 54th Street.
According to police, a vehicle was traveling south on Western Avenue when it hit a pedestrian in the crosswalk.
The victim died following the incident.
The driver involved in the crash fled the scene after the accident.
Police are conducting an investigation into the collision.
