Bakersfield, CA.- A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Bakersfield on Friday morning, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
The incident took place in the 8100 block of South Union Avenue near Hosking Avenue just before 9:39 a.m.
Police reported that a man was struck and left at the scene by an unknown driver.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
