Eagle Rock, CA. – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly hit-and-run accident that killed a pedestrian on Thursday night in Eagle Rock.
The collision happened a while before 10:15 p.m. on June 13, on the 2 Freeway, south of Colorado Boulevard.
Officers said the pedestrian was on the northbound 2 Freeway when he was hit and killed by a driver.
The victim died at the crash site.
The involved motorist fled the scene and police are still searching for them.
No further details concerning the incident were provided.
