Los Angeles, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Los Angeles early Saturday morning, according to Los Angeles Police Department.
The incident took place on South Main and East Seventh streets at around 1:53 a.m.
According to the report, a driver in a Toyota Prius struck a pedestrian and dragged him at least one block before coming to a stop.
The pedestrian was pulled from underneath the vehicle by emergency crews and rushed to a hospital, where he later died.
The driver of the Toyota was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
