Police said a man in his 60s was struck by an RT Smart Ride bus under unclear circumstances
Natomas, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a Sacramento RT bus on Monday morning in North Natomas, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
The incident took place on Club Center and Banfield drives at about 8:30 a.m.
Police said a man in his 60s was struck by an RT Smart Ride bus under unclear circumstances.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the bus remained at the scene after the accident.
Roads were blocked in the area as authorities investigated the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
