Police said a vehicle hit a pedestrian under unclear circumstances on Northern and 91st Avenues
Peoria, AZ.- A pedestrian was hit and injured by a vehicle near an intersection in Peoria on Tuesday evening, according to the Peoria Police Department.
The accident took place shortly before 7 p.m. December 3, on Northern and 91st avenues.
Police said a vehicle hit a pedestrian in the area under unclear circumstances.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
