San Francisco, Calif. – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 101 in San Francisco Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened just before 11:00 a.m. on southbound Highway 101, a quarter a mile just north of Paul Avenue off-ramp.
According to the CHP, the pedestrian was struck by a large truck with wooden sides. Responding crews located the white male adult lying down in the roadway suffering from major injuries.
