Woman Hurt in San Luis Obispo Accident on Santa Rosa and Mill Streets
San Luis Obispo, California (September 2, 2022) – One person was severely injured in an auto-pedestrian accident that took place at Santa Rosa and Mill streets in San Luis Obispo on Wednesday evening, according to authorities.
At around 5 p.m. on August 31, a 26-year-old San Luis Obispo woman was trying to cross the street in the crosswalk at the intersection when she was hit by a vehicle traveling southbound on Santa Rosa Street.
The pedestrian sustained moderate injuries in the accident. She was transported to a hospital for treatment of her injuries.
The involved driver stayed at the scene after the accident.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
An investigation to determine the cause of the incident is ongoing.
