Fresno, CA. – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a car at an intersection in Fresno on Friday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident happened in the area of Shaw and Valentine Avenues.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the pedestrian was crossing south on Valentine when he was struck by a white vehicle traveling east on Shaw.
Emergency personnel found the pedestrian at the scene suffering from serious injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The driver remained at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
