Man Killed in Huntington Beach Crash on Warner Avenue

Huntington Beach, Calif. – A man was hit and killed by a vehicle in Huntington Beach on Thursday night, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.

The incident took place on Warner Avenue and Gothard Street at about 6:30 p.m. January 18.

The HBPD said a white Nissan Roque was traveling east on Warner Avenue when it hit a 68-year-old Huntington Beach man walking in the area.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The driver of the Roque, a 25-year-old woman, stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The investigation is ongoing.
