Vallejo, CA. – A pedestrian was hospitalized with major injuries after he was struck by a vehicle Saturday evening in Vallejo, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident took place around 6:09 p.m. on eastbound State Route 37 near Wilson Avenue.
The report did not mention how the collision occurred but said the pedestrian was stuck under a tractor.
The Solano County sheriff's deputies and firefighters responded to the scene.
The pedestrian was freed from the vehicle and transported to John Muir Medical Center with a possible broken leg.
