Maricopa County, Ariz. – Authorities are investigating a pedestrian accident on Loop 202 in Maricopa County early Wednesday morning.
The incident happened at around 10:56 p.m. on Loop 202 near milepost 67.
The police said a pedestrian was struck by a car on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian sustained minor injuries in the collision.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
An investigation is underway.
