A westbound Toyota Camry that was traveling behind the Jeep was involved in a minor crash with the Jeep after the initial impact

San Diego, CA. – Two Bay Area residents died in a collision that left two other people dead on Friday night in Fallbrook.
The tragic collision happened on State Route 76 near Horse Ranch Creek Road at around 11:20 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
An eastbound Chrysler 300 reportedly veered into oncoming traffic and collided with an oncoming Jeep Gladiator driven westbound by a 58-year-old man.
A westbound Toyota Camry that was traveling behind the Jeep was involved in a minor crash with the Jeep after the initial impact.
Both drivers as well as two adult passengers of the Jeep were killed in the accident.
Two of the victims were identified as Peggy Moore, 60, and Hope Wood, 48.
A third adult passenger of the Jeep was hospitalized with major injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
