1 Seriously Injured in Penngrove Motorcycle Accident at Ely Road North and Old Redwood Highway

Penngrove, California (September 24, 2021) – One person was seriously injured Thursday night following a traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a car at an intersection in Penngrove, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury crash happened at around 9:06 p.m. Thursday, September 23 at the intersection of Ely Road North and Old Redwood Highway.
The CHP said a Toyota Camry struck a Harley Davidson motorcycle head-on at the Penngrove intersection.
As a result of the crash, the Toyota acquired moderate front-end damage while the motorcycle lost its front wheel.

Authorities said one patient, whose name was not immediately disclosed, was taken to the Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with major injuries.
The intersection of Ely Road and Old Redwood was blocked while the investigation took place.
