Glendale, CA – A person was struck and killed Tuesday morning by a Lancaster-bound Metrolink train in the Glendale area, according to Metrolink.
The deadly collision happened at about 10 a.m. near San Fernando Road and Brazil Street, between the Glendale and Burbank-Downtown stations.
Officials say the person was hit by an AV Line Train 209. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the victim was not immediately released pending notification to the next of kin.
According to Metrolink, about 125 passengers were aboard the train at the time of the incident, and no one was injured.
