Richland, WA.- A bicyclist was injured in a hit-and-run collision that happened at a parking lot in Richland on Monday night, according to the Richland Police Department.
The incident took place at 454 Keene Road on Monday, June 16.
According to the report, a mini-bike rider was traveling through the intersection when they were hit by a car that made a turn in front of them at the intersection.
The mini-bike rider was taken to a hospital with a leg injury.
The driver of the car, a 16-year-old, fled the scene after the accident but was later located and arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run causing injury.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
