2 PG&E Workers Hurt in Calistoga Accident along Highway 29

, California (May 3, 2022) – Two Pacific Gas and Electric employees were injured in a work accident near Calistoga on Friday afternoon, according to the authorities.

The workers were part of a crew conducting hydrotest on the gas line along Highway 29 when an explosion occurred.

The incident took place at around 4:40 p.m. on Friday, April 29.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported the workers to a hospital with unspecified injuries.

There was no release of natural gas during the incident, PG&E said.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
