Phoenix, AZ – A Phoenix police officer was seriously injured in a Tuesday morning crash on 7th Avenue in South Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the collision happened near 7th Avenue and St. Anne, just north of Vineyard Road.
Two vehicles were involved. However, it was unclear how the crash occurred.
The officer was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries and was expected to be released.
The other driver was unhurt and stayed at the scene.
