Minor Injuries Suffered in Pinole Car Accident on 80 Freeway near Pinole Valley Road Off-Ramp
Pinole, California (December 12, 2021) – Authorities responded to the scene of a two-vehicle crash that happened on 80 Freeway in Pinole.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck was reported just after 1 a.m. on the westbound lanes of the freeway, near the Pinole Valley Road off-ramp.
Two vehicles of unknown make and model collided under unclear circumstances. Fire was coming from under one of the vehicles after the accident.
Minor injuries were sustained in the crash, as per the report.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and assisted the motorists.
The cause of the accident is under active investigation.
