At Least 1 Killed in Pinole Collision on Interstate Highway 80 near Pinole Valley Road Off-Ramp
Pinole, California (November 15, 2021) – Authorities are investigating the cause of a deadly multi-vehicle crash that happened early Monday morning in Pinole.
At around 12:04 a.m., emergency personnel responded to Interstate Highway 80 near the Pinole Valley Road off-ramp, to investigate the report of a traffic collision.
First responders reportedly found vehicles blocking westbound lanes and on the right side of the interstate.
As of 12:40 a.m., a coroner was dispatched to the crash site.
Authorities said the area was foggy at the time of the collision.
Further regarding the collision were not immediately provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
