The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the family collided head-on with a semi-truck while attempting to pass other vehicles

Wickenburg, Ariz. – 24-year-old Chloe Stott from Utah, and her unborn child died after their vehicle collided head-on with a semi-truck in Wickenburg, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.
The wreck occurred just before 8:20 p.m. Wednesday on US-93 at milepost 192.
Authorities said Chloe and her husband, Parker Stott, were in a Toyota Tundra pickup truck and passing vehicles in a legal passing zone when the vehicle failed to complete the pass and collided head-on with a white Volvo commercial truck-tractor pulling a trailer ferrying home goods.
Chloe and their unborn baby boy were killed in the accident.
Parker was driving the pickup truck and was airlifted to Arizona Burn Center with critical injuries and burns. He was placed under intense care.
The driver of the Volvo was also hospitalized as a precaution.
According to a GoFundMe account opened to seek financial support for the family, the Stotts were heading home from Utah to Arizona to celebrate Christmas with families.
The highway was closed for over six hours following the collision.
