Three vehicles were involved in the accident Saturday evening near Pesante Road

Prunedale, Calif. – A pregnant woman was taken to the hospital after being involved in a traffic collision Saturday evening in Prunedale, the California Highway Patrol said.
The multi-vehicle collision was reported around 6 p.m. on northbound Highway 101, just south of Pesante Road.
Three vehicles were involved in the accident.
The report said an eight-month pregnant woman was taken to Natividad Medical Center as a precaution.
A separate single-car collision also happened in the same area around the same time, resulting in property damage only.
