Pricilla Hernandez Killed in Rialto Crash on North Riverside Avenue

Rialto, California (June 10, 2022) – Pricilla Hernandez, 40, of Colton, was killed in a crash involving a suspected DUI driver in Rialto on Wednesday night, according to the Rialto Police Department.
The incident occurred at about 9:15 p.m. on June 8, in the 300 block of North Riverside Avenue.
Police said Richard Madrid, 38, of Fontana, was driving a black Mercedes C63 northbound on Riverside Avenue at a high rate of speed when he collided with a Chevrolet HHR traveling eastbound on Third Street.
Hernandez was a passenger in the Chevrolet. She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
Her husband, who was the driver of the Chevrolet, was taken to the hospital with significant injuries but was in stable condition.
Madrid was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
He was later arrested on suspicion of murder and booked on a $2.5 million bail.
The Rialto Police Department is investigating the incident.
