La Habra, Calif. – A pursuit ended in a crash that left a police officer and an uninvolved civilian injured in La Habra on Friday night, according to the authorities.
The incident began at around 10:30 p.m. February 9, when a police officer responded a report of an erratic driver in the area of Cypress Street and Whittier Boulevard.
The officer tried to stop the suspect but the suspect fled from the scene traveling down Cypress.
The pursuit came to a stop at the intersection of Cypress and Lambert Road when the officer crashed with an uninvolved civilian.
The officer and the civilian were taken to hospital with unspecified injuries.
It's unclear whether the suspect was arrested after the incident.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
