Ramon Vasquez Identified as Man Seriously Injured in Fatal Fresno County Crash on Clovis Avenue and Central Avenue

Fresno County, California (May 14, 2022) – Ramon Vasquez, 32, of Visalia, has been identified as the man who was seriously injured in a Saturday morning traffic accident that killed a 22-year-old woman from Clovis, the CHP said.
The deadly accident happened at about 5:30 a.m. on Clovis Avenue and Central Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the Clovis woman was driving a sedan southbound in the northbound lanes on Clovis Avenue when she collided with a compact SUV driven by Vasquez.
As a result of the crash impact, both vehicles reportedly flipped over and came to a rest on Clovis Avenue.
Sadly the Clovis woman who was allegedly not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision was pronounced dead at the scene.
Vasquez was seriously injured and was hospitalized for treatment. He was wearing a seatbelt when the accident happened.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
