Rider Killed in Rancho Cordova Bicycle Crash on Zinfandel Drive near International Drive
Rancho Cordova, California (January 2, 2021) – A bicyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle in Rancho Cordova on Saturday evening, according to the Rancho Cordova Police Department.
At around 7 p.m. January 1, a bicyclist was riding a bike across Zinfandel Drive just south of International Drive when they were hit by a vehicle traveling southbound.

The rider, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced deceased at the site of the accident.
The driver who struck the bicyclist remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The Rancho Cordova Police Department is still investigating to find out what led up to the accident.
