Rider Seriously Injured in Rancho Cordova Crash on Sunrise Boulevard near Folsom Boulevard
Rancho Cordova, California (September 22, 2021) – A bicycle rider suffered major injuries in a traffic collision on Wednesday afternoon in Rancho Cordova, according to Rancho Cordova police.
The incident happened on Sunrise Boulevard near Folsom Boulevard just before 2 p.m.
Police said a man riding a bike collided with a school bus on the northbound side of Sunrise Boulevard.

The bicyclist was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries.
There were no students on the bus at the time of the accident.
The northbound lanes of Sunrise Boulevard were closed as authorities investigated the incident.
