1 Seriously Hurt in Redding Crash near Latona and Northbound SR-273
Redding, California (January 4, 2021) – One person suffered major injuries in a traffic collision that happened Monday evening in Redding.
According to California HIghway patrol, two vehicles collided at around 6 p.m. January 3, in the area near Latona and northbound SR-273.
Shortly after, one person stepped out of their vehicle and was hit by another vehicle.

The victim sustained major injuries and was rushed to Mercy Medical for treatment.
The crash led to the closure of northbound SR-273 for nearly one hour as crews worked to clear the scene.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
