14-Year-old Injured in Redwood City Crash on Highway 101 near Woodside Road
Redwood City, California (January 23, 2022) – A 14-year-old was injured in a two-vehicle collision that happened Sunday morning in Redwood City, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at around 7:34 a.m. on southbound Highway 101 near Woodside Road.
A blue Porsche SUV collided with a gray Infiniti G35 for unknown reasons. The Infiniti acquired major front-end damage, and the Porsche major rear-end damage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked the No. 4 lane.
A 14-year-old sustained cuts on their forehead. Paramedics responded to help the victim. It was not clear if the patient was hospitalized.
Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.
CHP is investigating the collision.
