Richard Agresti Seriously Injured in Fatal Keyes Accident on Keyes Road near Pioneer Road
Keyes, California (September 4, 2022) – Richard John Agresti, 31, of Ceres, was seriously injured in a deadly collision that took place near Keyes early Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened at around 1:10 a.m. on Keyes Road east of Pioneer Road.
According to the report, a 2008 Mazda 3 was heading east on Keyes Road at a high rate of speed when it swerved into the westbound side and collided with an oncoming 2017 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Agresti.
The driver of the Manda was ejected from his vehicle during the crash, and he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Agresti was transported to a hospital with major injuries, including a head laceration.
The identity of the deceased party has not been released.
Authorities are conducting an investigation into the deadly incident.

Keyes, California (September 4, 2022) – A man was killed in a Sunday morning car accident in Keyes, authorities said.
The deadly head-on collision occurred at about 1:10 a.m. on Keyes Road east of Pioneer Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2008 Mazda3 driven by the man was headed eastbound on Keyes Road when it veered into the westbound lane, directly into the path of a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Richard John Agresti, 31, of Ceres.
Unfortunately, the two vehicles reportedly collided head-on.
As a result of the crash impact, the driver of the Mazda was ejected onto the roadway. The Silverado came to rest in an orchard along Keyes Road.
Sadly, the male driver of the Mazda was pronounced dead at the scene.
Agresti suffered major injuries, including a laceration to his head.
It was unclear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
