Victorville, CA. – A San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputy was injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Thursday morning in Victorville.
The crash happened in the area of Bear Valley Road and Mesa View Drive at around 5:11 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Scion XA, a Dodge Durango, and a Sheriff's Department vehicle, which was in pursuit of another vehicle, were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
An unidentified deputy and two other people were hospitalized with minor injuries.
The two people were identified as Richard Reyes-Escobar, 22, of Adelanto and Javier Flores, 28, of Hesperia.
More details about the accident were not released.
The Victorville Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the cause of the accident.
