Rider Hospitalized after Richmond Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 80 Freeway near Cutting Boulevard
Richmond, California (March 1, 2022) – A motorcyclist was injured in a Tuesday morning crash in Richmond, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The 8:47 a.m. collision happened on Interstate 80 Freeway, just east of Cutting Boulevard.
CHP said a Harley Davidson motorcycle collided with a vehicle on the westbound side of the interstate.
First responders found the motorcyclist lying down in the No. 2 lane. The rider was taken to a local hospital with a broken leg and other injuries.
Several lanes were temporarily closed due to the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
