Injuries Reported in Richmond Crash on I-580 at Richmond-San Rafael Bridge
Richmond, California (May 19, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision near Richmond on Thursday morning, according to California Highway Patrol.
The collision on I-580 at the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge happened shortly after 7 a.m.
Multiple vehicles reportedly collided on the westbound side of the bridge, just west of the toll plaza.
It's unclear what led up to the collision.

CHP said the collision resulted in injuries to parties.
There was no update on the number of those injured and the extent of their injuries.
An investigation to determine the cause of the crash is underway.
