At Least One Hospitalized after Interstate 80 Freeway Accident near Central Avenue Off-Ramp in Richmond
Richmond, California (February 25, 2022) – At least one person was taken to a hospital following a Friday morning car crash in Richmond, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck occurred at around 8:55 a.m. on Interstate 80 Freeway near the Central Avenue exit.
CHP said a white sedan, a silver pickup truck, a silver 4-door sedan and a tan SUV collided in the eastbound lanes of the freeway.
4-Vehicle Accident in Richmond
Emergency personnel responded to the scene to provide medical aid to the injured parties. At least one patient was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
The wrecked vehicles were towed away from the crash site.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
