Apache Junction, AZ – The authorities are investigating a two-vehicle traffic collision that left a motorcyclist dead at an intersection in Apache Junction Monday morning.
The two-vehicle collision occurred just after 7:30 a.m. on June 9 at the intersection of Ironwood Road and Ray Avenue and involved a motorcycle and a commercial pickup truck.
The rider died in the collision. The name of the deceased motorcyclist has not been released.
The intersection remained closed for several hours are officers investigated the incident.
